I know one creator on tumblr that makes super long maxis match hair, her account is Sim Mandy and she even makes hair colors that aren’t ea originals.

I higghly recommend SimMandy (simandy on Tumblr) who has made a few lovely long haired styles. She has prevented clipping pretty well on the ones I have, though of course it is still a single mass as is typical of Sims hair. Still super cute!
