I died before the world even loaded. Then I was completely struck by how beautiful and smooth the graphics were. Then I died a lot. Then I ran around trying to figure things out. And died more. Leveling up that first time is a pain, but I think it's going to be much better from there on. Unfortunately, it isn't as fun…

Nah, I couldn't care less about it being part of the franchise. I played it on Xbox ages ago, and I actually really liked the blend of gameplay elements. I hadn't had any luck finding another with naval combat and swordplay like this, but then I found out that there was a PC version. So why not?
