Only from a technical point of view. The quality and style remain the same. Crappy and only acceptable because you can say "Come on, man, give it a break. It's an indie game!"

And they only have to go to the end of the proverbial line because they refused to move forward with the line. Maybe if they hadn't left it alone for months without putting any effort into it, it wouldn't be so difficult to "resurrect it from the ashes."
So you can't skip the entire system. Sounds fair to me
