Coming from a Science Education environment as well, I love STEAM. I think it’s worth noting that creativity is a huge bonus of STEAM. I can also vouch that, from a personal perspective, learning the mathematics behind music opened up my appreciation of both subjects as a student.

I am intrigued by this clutch.

My guess is Vader reference? Or MJ, but Vader is certainly more appropriate.

I have started using the Aztec clay mask, which is a bear to remove. I wonder if this would be a good option there?

As an Ohioan, I can confirm that Kasich in fact has a tendency to speak disrespectfully to about just about everyone you can imagine. He has attacked teachers and other public employees both off-the-cuff and through legislative measures:

“multiple sources coming forward to tell how he’d confided in them”

And Shelfani is definitely off the table?

Not to mention that this girl has had producers, her family, and specifically her mother telling her to share the most dramatic moments of her life with the press, or to invent drama when there is none, since the age of 23. I am sure that the idea of “no comment” did not enter her mind during the follow up interview.

Please know that I absolutely adore the nation of Canada and fully believe that I would be a more content Canadian than American.

I’m surprised to not see Amazon or any independent Ye Olde Candy Shoppes on here. Otherwise, I’m guessing the Costco member fee would offset these savings, so I’m off to Target!

For every baby who sleeps the day away, there are a dozen who scream.

Also an elephant.

Also, this isn’t promoting anything other than Shinaberger’s book. It isn’t promoting Judeo-Christianity anymore than it is promoting climbing mountains with strangers or asking the waitress to order for you (WHO DOES THAT?!). Thanks for posting!

Maybe a bad example. Aside from the association with Islam, there is the fact that the US (and UN, and world) do not identify ISIS as a State or Nation. Solid explanation her by NPR:

This is the rudest thing Siri ever said to me. I had not been running in about a month.

Yet I still have trouble accepting it when people tell me living in Columbus has blinded me to the nonsense going on in the rest of the state...

It is weird! And I do it! I prefer to sleep naked with a single sheet. It makes for awkward grown up sleepover times, but I just won’t sleep if I don’t have my sheet. I agree with another commentor, it’s probably a carried over childhood phobia. Isn’t it amazing that the mind of a child can block out and recover from

I agree. Also, if you’re a visitor or security or police officer who spots two children by themselves in a food court, that’s a big deal. Not to mention a huge liability for the mall.

Absolutely. As a hiring manager, I am legitimately offended when people track me down. Our automated system only eliminates candidates who are too young (but apply anyway), and candidates who answer no to a question like, “Are you comfortable working with people of different races/ethnicities/backgrounds/etc?” I use
