Yep, people were saying the same thing about Tesla 15 years ago.

Lutz is the complete opposite of a “scared-old-man.” Think more like “salty seasoned automotive veteran” who has seen many car companies come and go.

Sure, Carplay has its issues; but it is 100000000000000000000x better than Toyota’s shit pile of a system they call Entune.

Eah...GM has improved significantly but add 300k miles to either one of the vehicles and the Toyota is still going to be in better shape. Reason why GM is mid-pack in reliability and Toyota is always number 1.

Resale and reliablity would be the main reasons I’d imagine

Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached peak front grille.

The Arteon is the only car I think VW’s new front end design language looks good on so far. Then again you could slap Audi’s face on it and it’d probably be a slightly better fit with the rest of the car.

I second that interior. Pretty neat.

VW is so good at interiors. It’s a shame they’re so bad at reliability...

The box was delivered to one of Mnuchin’s neighbors on accident

The description of “we may get a small share” is also quite misleading. Chase pays about $200 bucks per approved application resulting from their affiliate links. Get enough approval and you can make a killing hawking links like this.

If you want a sneak peak at the Jetta...

...and like the RX, it will give Lambo more money so they can do more racing or build more rad sports craz!

  • you’re not wrong

That rear end is terrible. It’s not a wagon.

I’d have to disagree... I feel like designers are constantly trying to do too much... folds and creases and such. Keep it simple. I think this is one of the best looking sedans on the market.

It isn’t all that different in Europe really. American cars don’t sell here either. They’re not competitive.

I’m perfectly happy never visiting Reddit, so having Jalops curate it and add epic David Tracy rebuilds is all I need.

Why would someone in Japan want an American car when they are making better cars? Dealership models aside, but American cars really have no place outside of the USA. Half of American cars sold in the USA are sold on blind patriotism, the rest are new Fords as the ROW Fords that we now get are actually good cars..
