Must have been a rookie brandishing it. I’m more of a patient Crucible player, and will take mostly headshots with whatever I’m using (besides shotguns & fusion rifles, of course). One hit with a 365 Thorn + DoT is very often a killshot.
The Hive somewhat follow British medieval lines (Knights, Wizards, Ogres, Swarm Princes, etc.), and the title of the expansion is The Taken “King” - referring to Oryx no doubt. Eh, we’ll find out in a couple weeks.

Worst Iron Banner loss I had to date was against a fireteam that was all Thorn and Felwinter’s Lie. Christ, that was an epic loss, something like 20,000 to 4,000.

I can’t wait for these. I got onto PS3 a little late, and only finished maybe 30% of the first one then sold the PS3 so I could get the PS4. This may be the game that finally cures my strange Destiny addiction. Maybe.
The 25 K/D for Invective and Thorn’s “500 points with Void kills” - as a Hunter - were definite struggles. Thank The Traveller I ascended my Atheon’s Epilogue and a lot of noobs tried out Iron Banner on the first day, or I’d never have made that last one. Such a great feeling of accomplishment when completed though!
The materials (Spinmetal, etc.) stack too!
The first major bounty you turn in to the reef guarantees a treasure key.
On the plus side, I got so many rare specials that became fusion rifles and also special ammo synths that filling that portion of the respective bounties for Pocket Infinity and Invective was a cheap and easy step!
