Nothing really happened, it was filler, like last week's. The writers didn't know what to do so they span their wheels. It had some good moments, like Michael's speech, but moments aren't enough for an entire episode. Very lacklustre ending.

*S1 is slow from about episodes 2-4, then gets better and better, whereas S2's first 2 episodes are awesome, the 3rd is strong too, then the plot stalls for FIVE WHOLE EPISODES. With brutal expository dialogue, nonstop. The last half hour of the finale salvaged the season but overall, S1's definitely superior.
That's because Jackie Brown is very, very boring. I somehow liked it when I was much younger but watching it now, ugh, it's a chore.
Do you remember when he said that the first 4 episodes of S2 were better than S1? I won't. Goddamn con artist!
Wikipedia tells me that that's a lie, although I doubt later viewings are taken into account. S2 certainly isn't as well liked as S1, and many out there are no doubt only watching to see how it ends.
Plus cell phones not working for no reason, the countless people in the buildings near the police station not contacting the state police, this episode was a tease for a battle, without the actual battle.
Shows that it didn't deserve the As then. It was like S3, forgettable, except not necessarily dull and often bad as 3 was. The final season was good but it fizzled out as most Justified seasons do. Apart from 4.
Really? You complained about black people not being prominent in a story set in Victorian London? Jesus Christ, this PC bullshit never ends!
I actually think that McCrory is the weakest part of S2 by far. She brings little to the role other than generic, cackling witch. She bores me.
And then he realises that his soldiers are Melisandre's.
They didn't suck remotely. Even this one, while only being 'okay', it was still compelling with a intense ending. Best 'okay' episode I've ever seen.
A "type"? You can edit all you like but I'll always know!! :)
You really think that McCrory is that great? I think that her and her story are the weakest part of the season by far. Plus, acting wise she's not really being anything other than your typical theatrical villain.
If not for the fact that you confused Lyle and Lily in 17, this was a thoroughly enjoyable recap.
That can't be right, this is a highly, highly advanced galaxy, why couldn't they advance the aging process and slow it when they mature? Besides, shouldn't characters live at least twice as long as us, what with their advanced medical technology?
BB had a helluva lot more drama at this point, Saul doesn't know what it wants to be. It's a BB prequel and yet it seems to want to get away from that drama and tension, being lighter, which doesn't fully work for a 45+ minute show.
Nah, BB has far better drama, characters, tension, plots, you can't even suggest that BCS is more interesting than BB.
Both were good, but an A grade?? 9/10? This show is being massively overrated, it's pretty good, but not great. People are deluding themselves. It needs better writing, more compelling plots, more tension, drama, and more concise too, what happens should take half as long as it actually does.
Frankie always forgets about her kids, always. Plus she didn't go with Ashley, she just met her there as the dialogue clearly states.
It's a really weak arc with a pointlessly shoehorned in black guy, for demographics, the most artificial part of the show. They should all be at home, screw further education.
