Dear Blizzard,

One player on the subreddit complained that Konami had been “ignoring everyone’s pleas to fix a system that allowed a handful of nuke developers to overturn the efforts of an army of disarmers”

Others speculated that the cutscene triggered due to an overflow error in the game’s code. The cutscene that played claimed that there was a total of 2,1474,83,647 nukes in the game. The number is so large that players believe it increased into a negative number that caused the game to act as if no more nukes were

Mike Fahey ran the original article on how bad the localization was with fans on the internet showing the problems. These were not subtle localization differences that could be a difference of an opinion. Many localizations were simply wrong and possibly made up. There were patterns in the text that appeared to be

Don’t call people lazy, especially when you’ve little understanding of the job.

Uh, first Miis. Coincidentally no one is still playing.

Editing fail.

You know, I wish that every time something like this happened you could find the people responsible and ship them off-planet.

I don’t think Schreier is your guy on this point. He’s typically a good journalist, but he’s taken a confoundingly insider-ish perspective on the outrage surrounding lootboxes and more contemporary methods of post-retail revenue generation. You’re trying to reason with someone who believes the right answer lies at

The important question here is, who are these 5 million people who bought a Nintendo console and didn’t buy the Mario game for said Nintendo console?

Glad to see Xenoblade do so well though. Hopefully this means we get a Xenoblade Chronicles 3 before too long, since XBC2 definitely left at least one possible thread it

They need to just port the handful of Wii U games that haven’t been ported already, and then pretend that the Wii U was nothing more than a Switch prototype where a select few people were allowed to play Switch games early on the condition they had to do it on a clunky system.

It was amazing last spring when Breath of the Wind had sold more copies than the Switch itself. That soon changed. Still, to have yet another game outsell that one (Mario Odyssey, released three months ago) is pretty surprising.

Playing a team of Tien, Krillin, and Yamcha for fun. Beating actual good characters is like watching alternate reality fanfic coming to life. I love this game.

Do you think ANYONE gave EA a free pass when it came to Battlefront II? Come on. There’s just nothing to talk about right now because the only thing we know is that they’re re-adding microtransactions to the game, which is what we’ve known since November. Given that those decisions are still being made, all we can

I know it’s fun to get REALLY ANGRY about video games every week, but there’s nothing to talk about until we actually know what the new system looks like, whether it still feels pay-to-win, and how unfair it feels.

It’s not news - EA made it quite clear during the original announcement in November that the removal of microtransactions was temporary.

Miyamoto was actually the first person inducted into the AIAS Hall Of Fame, which is the award that they give out to those who are primarily known for game design. So he got his turn in 1998 :)

I’ve often wondered why in this kind of awards we have never seen (that i’m aware...) someone from Nintendo recognized (other than Iwata’s passing). I’m glad this is happening, Takeda built my entire childhood, and I wouldn’t be where I am without those Nintendo Systems. <3

Hopefully, Miyamoto’s turn will soon come.
