“Flash for notifications” if you don’t have a disability, is a dick move. I’ve been blinded by flashes so many times when people are already looking at their screen and get a text. It’s an almost weekly occurrence on the train.

It sounds like you’re working under the assumption that the relationship was bad, whereas sometimes people just change. I have it set up so I save $2 every time I hit 10k steps (Fitbit, Qapital). If I go out of town on summer weekends, I set it so my air conditioner comes on for my cat if the temp hits a certain point and off if it cools at night (weather widget, Wemo outlet). From what I’ve read, when they met many years ago, Oprah and Gayle were pretty much on the same level. But then Oprah blasted into the stratosphere.
