lol - I was totally going to say, or a scientist. :P

CNN really was better before the Time-Warner merger. It went to shit after that.

Lebron is supposed to carry the Cavs on his back. Apparently he is the most powerful man in town (??!!!!!) so it looks like he is supposed to carry the city of Cleveland. And now he’s supposed to carry his race?

Frankly, I think Lebron James sitting out for this would be putting him at risk of much worse than just financial injury. I think it’s a little ridiculous for you to be saying it’s a money thing for Lebron James to not want to paint a target on his back, when the entire issue is violence against black men.

I never cared for LeBron the player, but respect his actions off the court. He seems to have a level head regarding racial matters around the country.

I think there many ways for Lebron to be more effective in supporting this cause than sitting out. Some other commenters here have pointed out, and I agree, this feels more like the BLM leaders are trying to show how powerful they are that they can get Lebron to sit out. Lebron is smart enough to not be used like that

what if he’s playing for more than just money? maybe he’s, you know, living his fucking dream playing a sport he’s worked his entire life to be the best at? it’s totally unfair to judge him just because someone nominated him to stop playing until our justice system changes. give me a break.

I don't know man, how exactly would Lebron James sitting out get the DOJ to bring up charges? That's the point Mr. Howard makes in his article and nothing you've said in response argues against that point. He can sign petitions, join in staged protests, he can even start a protest event, that's all well and good, but

I don’t know if you remember this movie -

James is not in any way morally obligated to risk his career participating in a protest that has nothing to do with him. It’s important to remember that even when protesting is the “right thing”, that doesn’t mean that NOT protesting is the “wrong thing”.

I was behind a toddler carrying a toilet golf game in line at the Austin airport on the 26th. I thought it was hilaaaaarious. No judgements here.

Mine were visibly disappointed when Meryl Streep’s interpretation of her didn’t kabloomed in that hotel - same reaction as if the team missed a big goal.

I actively hope for bad things to happen to my abuser. He’s married now and I carry that weight because I never did anything about it and wonder if/fear that he hurts her. The best I can do is promise myself I'd testify if she ever kills him that he is a horrible evil person.

I hate that we are socialized to say “I don’t wish him harm” when coming out with stories of abuse. If you don’t, great, do you. But women shouldn’t be pressured to prove a “pure” motive for sharing their experiences. You're allowed to wish that the person who raped you get hit by a bus.

Funny embarrassing story about David Spade: I worked at one of the 3 bars in Big Bear Lake in 2001. This little guy (literally, he’s tiny) brought an underage girl with him and demanded to be let in.

Um, maybe you’re the thirsty one David Spade. Nobody gives any sort of fuck what you think about basically anything.

Nope, I’m still not watching. My dislike of Candace Cameron outweighs how much I like most things.

I love this review. LOVE IT. I went expecting some Bible thumping, “This movie is the devil! It’s evil!” Instead, I get a snobby, first year film school student review.

“Thank goodness this video now exists. Now watch Candace Cameron Bure (DJ) and her two TV sisters try to bust these moves.”

I honestly can’t figure out who wants this show. I’m 41 and enjoyed the first run, I suppose. Is it for me? My kids? The hipsters out there? My 82-year old mom?
