^ This is a pipe dream. If this were true, a solid 75% of PC gamers would not be able to play any console ports from the last 7 years.

Hard to get excited about anything when they’re talking about their next console before we’ve even gotten to play Zelda WiiU.
I absolutely love my WiiU, but it feels like they never let it hit its stride before they got over it and moved on.

Casual games do not matter. If you want to make money and gather hundreds of millions of customers, make a new flavor of gum or manufacture socks. People eat up garbage and the content of your “widely installed app” is utterly inconsequential.

I am optimistic about the premise of this, but I am super stoked to hear that they are responding to criticism regarding the power of their consoles. I absolutely love my 3DS and WiiU (even though I hated the Wii), can’t wait to see what’s next.
