He basically played himself adequately as a non-lead in a few movies that were okay (Sorry to Bother You, the Social Network), but he was the lead in like a dozen and a half movies that totally bricked.

I’ve already dismissed this movie as trash, in part based on the AV Club review, and there are still TRAILERS coming out?

Look, it might be a good film, maybe the best in years, but the way people have been talking about seems too good to be true.

In theory, they have to be paying some kind of residuals to actors, writers, directors, etc. But I can’t imagine its really that onerous of a cost.
