I’m not aware of how USA’s “decision tree” work - I know there’s the Congress, the President and don’t know much else - but I sincerily hope there’s a way to stop irrational decisions. I’ve been to USA two times and loved both. Hope that doesn’t get screwed up.

I agree with you on this. My fellow co-workers all said that Hillary would get a landslide win. But... still, I think people will believe anything that’s fed to them.

Trump won. Think about that. :)

Barney Stinson would not agree with you: “New is always better!”. But me, as a fellow developer, totally agree.

There are several Linux distributions that require little-to-no knowledge of the CLI. Why don’t you try them? The most popular one I believe is Ubuntu.

Ahahahah that’s my team! SPOOORTING! (Anyone curious, Sporting Clube de Portugal).

Came way too down for this.

My favourite saving tip is: don’t buy what you want, buy what you need. Yeah, I would love to have a top-notch computer. But I don’t need it. So instead of spending +2000USD on a brand-new computer, I’ve spend ~200USD. It works perfectly!

This is pretty epic. UK political jokes are gold. I’m more a SimuLord fan than a NerdLove fan. Just to get things straight.

I think this is a good advice. But apparently, if you suggest that your productivity drops because there’s a lot of people coming over and interrupting you, you’re not flexible enough.

Don’t call that to Sheldon Cooper.

Why don’t you use restore points? Not suitable for you?

Be that guy. You’re being passionate about english grammar! :)

Thanks for the enlightening. I was not aware of that. :)

Thanks for the info. I was not aware of that issue. In fact, I thought that GMail would not allow someone to create a s.foster@gmail.com if a sfoster@gmail.com address was already created.

How can a 120€ sleeve be a “dream”? +1 for a nightmare.

Why don’t you use dot [.] instead? I think it does the same and will pass the validations. Again, I think. :)

I don’t think so. I would, in fact, argue in favor of a inverse proportionality between the “professionality of the attire” versus productivity. The more confortable I am, the more productive I am.

In Portugal, the authorities are the ones who take the picture. Everything is gathered at the same time (picture, signature and so on). So you won’t get a passport request rejected because of your picture.
