“None of that is an additional source.” Both Gordon Coombes and Andy Horita work on the JonBenet Case as part of the Boulder County DA’s office. Andy Horita did the cold case presentation in Feb. 2009 about the TDNA testing on JonBenet’s leggings besides other test...

James Kolar was an investigator for the Boulder County DA for the JonBenet Murder Case. This isn’t a run of mill book. It is thorough and detailed on what was planned out. He isn’t some guy out of the woodwork. You can also look up what Gordon Coombes and Andy Horta’s work with the case and interactions with DA

The Ramseys commissioned the A & E special.

Great post!

“NOTHING ELSE SUPPORTS WHAT YOU ARE SAYING.”

Once again, James Kolar was an investigator for the Boulder DA office on this case. His book goes in detail about the DNA evidence and its context to the case.. If you read the reasons why he published the book, and how he structured the book, it is put many things together.

Whatever was under JonBenet’s fingernails wasn’t a match to the DNA in her underwear. Whatever DNA in JonBenet’s leggings was either a very weak match to inconclusive. The DNA test on the underwear took years to get around 10-13 markers to have it file in the CODIS database, which was in 2003.

“If the only thing is some book by some random guy.”

“Then you can tell me how the same DNA got on two separate pieces of clothing and under her nails.”

I remember as a child my Dad explaining that the son did it as the news about this was being played. He said, “think about it, no one really broke into that house and killed that girl without the parents knowing. The parents were covering something up and neither of them were covering for the other because no parent

From what I understand, the underwear were new and unwashed, taken from a pkg that was supposed to go to JB’s cousin (?) but she liked them and wanted to keep them. The DNA found on the leg band could have easily transferred to the long johns worn over the panties.

I’ll definitely check that link out....thanks!

I’ve watched both, I highly suggest you watch CBS’s version too. I thought all the same things did until I watched the CBS investigation and now I have some doubts. Some things from last night:

Which makes the timeline interesting.

I have a similar take but it is a little bit different and maybe explains some of the things that don’t add up: I think that they THOUGHT that Burke did it. Perhaps there had been issues previously and they found her and panicked, thinking he had finally gone too far and started with the cover up...but that the real

Burke seems to be autistic, acts just like my autistic brother. Anyway to say he did it because he’s acting “strange” when he’s obviously is on the spectrum is dangerous.

I’ve always suspected that the seeming ineptitude was actually deliberate and that the Ramseys spread some $$ around Boulder to get the absurd amount of law enforcement “cooperation” they had.

So much this. I started looking into this recently bc I always thought the accepted truth was the intruder theory (I was a kid when it was all over the tabs) and then fell down the biggest rabbit hole of my life when I realized that was impossible. I was reading about the crime scene and the garrote was actually

Handwriting analysis much like blood splatter analysis is more an art than a science. The DNA evidence on the underwear is not in the CODIS database, and it is most likely some poor garment worker in Hong Kong circa 1995/1996.. The underwear was straight out of the wrapper, (We know this because of the Ramsey’s maid

This is why they keep covering it.
