I would suggest using that boost on a second character if you make one. Your first character should play through all of the story (for good or bad) in my opinion. You’ll probably be lost at some of the references later on if you skip the Year 1 story.

They started development around 5 years ago. The game that got released was the third internal attempt at a game with the IP. If they had gotten it out at a reasonable time frame for game development that doesn’t require a new engine (like 2 years ago), they might have gotten more off of the main IP’s fanbase.

This is the second flop in a row they were involved in. The publishing side of the company also publish Raid: WW2 made by a company that worked on Payday DLC. That game flopped so bad it killed the studio and has a current average playerbase of less than 25 on a good day after being out maybe half a year.
