This. You are doing it right, my list is similar, but with a proper rear wheel drive coupe/sedan for cheap, like a new 70's Datsun.
@zerobandwidth: Not all that obscure, and thanks for making me get pissed off all over again.
Oops, for some reason, I spaced on the fact that it is indeed a Roller, and not a Bentley, and thus, uses a BMW v12 and not Bentley's old lump. I do like the Bentley engine better though, and I now have a strong desire to know why Rolls/BMW are even using that specific displacement. Tradition maybe?
@Mikeado: 6.75 litre twin-turbo v8.
@formuladave: But if they did, I would be in line post-haste to purchase one (or two).
Much appreciated.
@snap_understeer_ftw:F'n nibbles,et.al Was trying to post the meanwhile in... upside down bicyclist.

F new cars, enjoy the old cheap ones while we can. These cars all come from the early-mid 80's transformer lookalike japanese school of design. I like 'em.
Dubble post. oops.
It's been well documented that Mazda's designers were targeting the 944 in the looks department.
I remember reading somewhere that Mr.k was either involved in designing tho 2000gt or was a great admirer of it. Also I think there was a Yamaha connection, I think they had a hand in designing both of those straight sixes.
