@tonyola: Needs moar overhang!

@tonyola: Just some minor hijinks. And I'm certainly not the first to do that.

@Apocalypsedonkey: I would be hard pressed to not buy an e30 over this pile though. Or a w124, or a Volvo 240 242 gt etc.

Be the first to comment!

Oh, for sure, its just good to know I'm not the only schmuck whiling away my work hours listening to fart sounds and whatnot.

@Fodder650: Thanks for the phase 6 reference. Gadzooks.

Hmmm, must have been a brain fart, smells like knowledge escaping.

Right you are, but wasn't there also a 1600cc six?

I think the Gl wheels are 17 inch, so pretty close to the overall rolling diameter of the vw's 14" wheel and tire combo, Not sure what the Gl's final ratio is but I can bet the Subie's is a little lower which is good cause bikes have loooong first gears. Wasn't trying to do a daily driver or anything, but it does look

@laxmax613: HA! Have you read the Yugo book? Shame about the 360 though, 2strokes kick ass.

Alfred P. Sloan, the man who brought together GM, which was once the most powerful corporation in the world.

@doug-g: That's pretty kick-ass, I think I smell another 'historic' Dodge commercial coming on.

Goldwings have reverse and weigh nearly as much as a stripped bug, so the goldie trans is a great way to run it, however, the drive shaft spins in the wrong direction. My plan was to run it mid-engined, with the engine in the backseat area. These drivetrains are smaller than they look so it wouldnt fit too bad,

@NikolaTeslaSaysFuckYourShit: Was going to do the same with a honda goldwing engine, had to sell the damned car to get an engagement ring...........shoulda kept the car.

Engine is still in the wrong place, vw can keep it. I'll do my Beetle shopping in Mexico, thank you. Anyone want some meds?
