I'm not sure I was underwhelmed, exactly, but I do think this is the least, um, whelmed I've been in a while. Peridot and Connie are two of my very favorite characters on the show, and I'm rather partial to Lapis as well, so how could I not adore this one? I… dunno. But I didn't laugh once. I believe the only time I

Not the original microseries from Genndy Tartakovsky, Star Wars: Clone Wars. He had almost no involvement there, which is kind of why Lucasfilm had practically disowned it even before the Disney sale. And this despite its great popularity and the awards it won.

Well, are they really separate? It's not a big leap to say, well, they couldn't get those emails, as whatever was left had been totally deleted, but here's the next best thing: years and years of stuff from her closest associates… and a lot of completely innocent people.

Pretty much. The only downside is that I had hoped that their final confrontation might be saved for an eventual Obi-Wan film. Alas.

My proof is that the ads for weeks before its premiere literally said to binge the whole series starting November 21st.

That was one of the reasons given, admittedly. But the reason I mentioned was also stated explicitly.

Given that Netflix passed on continuing Agent Carter because they wanted to maintain the Marvel-Netflix brand they'be been establishing, I'm skeptical that they would pick up this show. However, Marvel now has a relationship with Hulu as well, so maybe that would be a better fit?

To be fair, the entire series has been available to watch on demand since the first episodes aired. TBS was encouraging binge watching it from the start.

The retcon word from on high is that Hydra considered his research into new methods of neural repair and whatnot to be some sort of threat to their plans. It's not unlike how they had to retcon Stark's scene at the end of The Incredible Hulk after they went a different direction with his character arc in Iron Man 2.

So the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs also triggered the ice age, over 60,000,000 years later? Fascinating. I guess you really do learn something new every day.

Zach really is one of the worst - and worst executed - characters I've ever seen on TV. Truly, what an awful turd he is.

At the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum way back when, they did a major Lennon exhibition in which Yoko Ono was quite involved. In fact, in the exhibition there was a white table with a white telephone and a white card instructing visitors to answer the phone if they happen to hear it ring. When I was there, it

That's such a better title than Band of Misfits.

I've had the same thought since the first time I saw that title. I enjoyed the movie though.

When I bought that movie on DVD, I got a free plush screaming slug. I still have it and it's super cute.

I guess I'm an idiot, but I mostly liked this episode. Oh well.

Okay, but I'm not sure I understand what that has to do with my original point that I didn't buy that this would break him.

I like Andrew Lincoln. I like (almost) the entire cast, really. I think they act their damn hearts out to make a whole feast out of what by all rights should just be stale, moldy bread. The strength of the cast, I think, is primarily why I haven't given up on the show.

Actually, I do mostly like Hardwick. What many find insufferable about him I find sort of charming. But I also kind of like picking on him.

Except they explicitly talked about "breaking" him, so I think that sort of is what it's about.
