Did anyone see Trevor's stand-up special a couple of months ago? It demonstrated that he's capable of fairly cutting material on the issues of the day. I'm not sure why he's seemed hesitant to express himself as pointedly on The Daily Show.

In the world of The X-Files, the (attempted) destruction of the World Trade Center by intentionally crashing a passenger jet was a false-flag operation before 9/11 ever happened. For reference, see the pilot episode of The Lone Gunmen.

I once encountered a film class where the professor (easily the worst I've ever dealt with) had taken it upon himself to recut Pulp Fiction chronologically and minus Butch's story. What a disaster.

Also true. He was fairly depressed after that. I honestly expected that movie to do better; it was pretty darned entertaining, all things considered.

When I saw Kevin Smith in 2007, prior to his film with Seth Rogen, he talked at length about how marijuana did not actually appeal to him at all. He also said that the first time I saw him in 2002 during the tour that became "An Evening with Kevin Smith." (My big stupid face even ended up on the DVD during his story

I already said my piece about this series a couple of episodes back, but I have to reiterate just how depressing a slog this turned out to be. Whenever anyone mentions Heroes from now on - assuming they ever do - I'm simply going to sigh.

That's a different issue. Yes, she seems significantly older than Ezra. Though I'll also point out that Leia in A New Hope comes across as older than she is. She certainly seems more mature than Luke.

Her mother was the leader of a planet and was telling off the whole galaxy at the same age.

I completely agree with everything you wrote, including that Hulk is seriously underrated.

At least until she steals someone else's death, thereby making that person immortal.

Lots of people seem to get hung up on stuff like the little gag at the end where the two of them wave from the boat. For some reason they take that silly Easter egg really seriously.

Yeah? And it includes characters that won't be appearing, as they are already dead.

Yes, that's exactly how I imagine it. I tear up all over again imagining that moment.

I don't really want to defend Penn, who is - in the most charitable terms - kind of a dumbass, but my sense of fairness forces me to mention that he's offered meaningful help to people who genuinely needed it in several different instances over the years.

That's assuming the Mexican police don't arrest her on charges of providing support to Guzman. They're purportedly considering it.

The statement doesn't necessarily even mean that they intend to have 67 characters in the film. Some of it is likely about deciding which characters will and will not actually appear.

That episode just aired again last night. "'90s Conan" indeed.

Thanks for everything, you little wonder.

Honestly, it's pretty much the anti-Rick and Morty: A concentrated dose of optimism, compassion and empathy to push back against the cynicism, self-absorption and loneliness of a wretched, irredeemable world. Or something. Which I do think adults likely appreciate more than kids that haven't yet been ground down by

Personal perhaps because one of her fellow matriarchs betrayed them over that puny little rock?
