I don’t normally ever comment on grades, but this really does not read like a “B” review.

I don’t need to bore anyone with all the details of my own depression, but I will say that perhaps the most pernicious aspect of my years of dealing with this has been resignation. The idea that this is how things will always be, so I should just stop kidding myself, just stop wasting my and everyone else’s time and

Yeah, Gann and Wood both turned in great work in that scene, not that there were really any weak performances in these last two episodes.

For the first two seasons, I was always prepared for the revelation that Wilfred was Ryan’s Tyler Durden. But the evidence kept piling up that there was more to it than that. Turns out most of that contrary evidence was also just in Ryan’s head, which complicated things considerably. I’ll admit to being somewhat let

It’s going to be airing on CNN relatively soon.

As a modest defense of their contribution to the Godzilla soundtrack, he rather explicitly mocks the movie—and by extension the audience—in the lyrics of the song. I’m easily entertained, admittedly, but that amused me.

He was actually in Thor: The Dark World, so he presumably won’t be in the running for any other roles in the MCU.

I wanted She-Ra figures since they were, more or less, part of the same works as the He-Man figures I already had. But my parents said they were girls’ dolls, so that never happened.

The female Star Wars character that has gotten to do the coolest stuff to date (at least among those characters that are still canon) has to be Ahsoka Tano from The Clone Wars. Not only does her growth over the course of the series have real weight and resonance, she also gets to kick several types of butt. Disney

“I wanted to apologize for everything I was.”

“even the most virulent atheist would be forced to ask themselves some hard questions”

No, there was a small pool of blood under Molly when the camera pulled back. It was easy to miss with her dark, bulky coat.

I’m absolutely going to be the lone voice in the wilderness on this (which is fine), and there’s always a chance—however unlikely—that I’ll change my mind by the time this program returns, but I think this might be where I check out. Life is miserable and hopeless enough as it is. I don’t really need to be reminded of

As much as I’ve enjoyed virtually every other element of this show, Odenkirk’s character grinds things to a halt for me every time he’s involved. Not that I have any problem with his performance, but the dude is so stubbornly, cartoonishly inept at pretty much everything that I can’t buy him as a real, meaningful

What was particularly great about this episode, I thought, was that it highlights just how removed the Gems are from normal human concerns. It’s a complicated position for Steven to be in, stuck between worlds and all, but it’s to the show’s credit that he rarely lets that pressure get to him.

I really hope this lovely series gets to maintain a presence here. It warms my heart to see this show get discussed with such affection.

I’ve been pretty much in love with this show since the pilot. It also has probably the catchiest opening theme I’ve heard in ages. I find myself singing it now and then without even meaning to.

You’re assuming that all aircraft landing there always had SHIELD markings. That may not have been the exception rather than the norm. As for there being no ground access, there could have been, say, a false lobby or something that simply wasn’t visible from the angle from which we saw the tower.

Well, its function could still have been classified. Locals might have been told it was just some office building or super-deluxe condominiums. (Though its purpose has now presumably been made public by Black Widow’s mass data dump.)

I had other issues with the episode, but my biggest is this: Will privileged the satisfaction of his own curiosity over all the other lives he knew Hannibal would take in the future. That’s a dick move, Graham. Every death from that scene onward will be on his hands as well as Lecter’s.
