I refuse to believe that anything of consequence will actually happen outside of the various season or midseason premieres and finales.

The point isn’t that the game doesn’t run better on PS5—it does—it’s that much of what’s broken about the game isn’t performance-based.
Personally, I don’t think this game can be saved by post game patches.
I mean, it’s not really supposed to be a tactical, dynamic fight, it’s supposed to be a mad scramble just to stay alive while you unload every single bullet and pipe bomb you have into the thing. The game stocks you up plenty beforehand and there’s ammo littered everywhere in the environment where the fight takes…

We have to remind ourselves that critics are people too, and some of them are really bad at their jobs and don’t pay attention to what they are supposed to be critiquing.

Maybe I’m just not enough of a pinball guy but I had a hard time getting a sense of its scale from this footage. A side-by-side, even if just using the graphics, might have been helpful.
