One of the most shocking details of the Holmes/Cruise divorce (and I’d love your spouse’s take on this) is that Tom has always had and continues to have access to Suri. He can see his daughter whenever he wants and he never has!!

I know this is anecdotal but one of the reasons my spouse stopped practicing domestic relations law was the large number of men who didn’t want to have to take responsibility, financially or otherwise, for their children.
He also understood the assignment when doing George of the Jungle. He was over-the-top when needed, knew that the movie itself was self-aware of how silly it was, but that George wasn’t quite in on the joke. He was funny through his character’s sincerity, which is not always easy to do.
Blast From the Past should be a classic. I’ve watched that movie probably 50 times. Brendan Fraser, Alicia Silverstone, Christopher Walkin and Sissy Spacek.
School Ties!
Since that happened, no buyer has stepped up
This smacks of gatekeeping. 🙄
sounds more like people don’t know how to use a feature on their phones. On my iPhone, Airdrop is set to “Receiving Off”. Maybe they need to do a search on “How to turn off Airdrop” before blaming Apple for things.
People who have platforms who confidently spout ignorant bullshit suck! No trans advocate would ever support parents “turning” their child trans! Trans inclusivity means letting kids tell you their gender on their own time frame without pressure. For the overwhelming majority that means kids will just end up being…
Hahah, it’s funny because he’s a violent abusive misogynist who brutalized his ex-wife, a woman 23 years his junior, and then capped it off by suing her for millions of dollars, making his ruination of his life complete, and now a major media conglomeration, which put this garbage on basically every network on TV last…
I think JLo is working really super hard to convince everyone - us, Ben, and herself, that this is all real. Bless her heart.
Given the historic take in conservative religious circles that women should quietly tolerate abuse, it’s particularly worrying for an alleged abuser to be all “my life is so hard I can’t even get a taco without someone accusing me of punching Sia, I’m gonna go become a Catholic.”
Because california is their chosen eternal enemy and everything is proof its horrible
Net population was a loss of 117k in 2021.
In 2021, 360k “moved out” but 80k moved in (280k net loss in state-to-state migration); and an additionally 43k moved in internationally. Then you also have births vs. deaths (exacerbated by COVID). And again, this is after 10 years with a 5.8% net increase in population.
Peo…
My cynical hypothesis is that the Supreme Court may support the right to abort septic pregnancies so they can then turn around and say “See? Overturning R vs W wasn’t monsterous! We can have a common-sense compromise!”
I’d say that Hollywood hurting people is a subtheme to the film, but the main theme feels like its more about, well, animals not being given the respect for how dangerous they can be. It’s why the Chimp Attack is so important and gets called back to so often, its why the film starts off with a horse in a shoot that…
Yeah the reviewer more or less misses the whole point and then blames the movie for it.
From what I’ve gathered, the theme of the movie isn’t Hollywood, but spectacle in general, and how trauma becomes spectacle in a process that’s harmful to everybody.
I never trust ANY critic who’s that confident that the issue was with the film and not with themselves. Nobody with a simplistic enough outlook on the world to believe a film is objectively “Good” or “Bad” can be expected to have anything interesting to say-- and you didn’t, so congratulations.
