...games have gotten so good, like The Last of Us, that I think I’d be in a basement and I wouldn’t even be going to audition for shows like this.

I think it’s more the idea that all he did for two weeks was obsessively play one game and not much else. Probably let other responsibilities slide, and came away with the amount of fun he was having wasn’t worth the two week hole in his life.

Honestly, as someone who has trouble limiting his time gaming (and going to comment sections to talk about gaming) I can respect this approach.

Honestly it’s just good policy. No one was totally sure if the move was legal by the rules. They investigated and ruled it was against the rules but since there was ambiguity the instigating incident was given a pass. Likely if this ended differently (like if a bit of the guard wall caught the car and sent it crashing…

I don’t know anything about NASCAR or racing in general, but this seems like the right call.

The thing I keep wondering is why is his wife just crying besides him through the video. If I were her I would not want my husband who already violated our friend’s and I’s trust to put my heartbreak on display for content.

They are famous because people enjoy watching them play video games. Not because they play video games.
