If it wasn’t for those “assholes” we wouldn’t get nice things like this. And not all of those “assholes” do lock them up in climate controlled time capsules. Some of them drive their cars how they’re meant to be driven.

Now THIS, this is a comment I can get on board with.  Sadly, due to the GMG exodus, there’s a lot of the old commentariat who has also departed.  But, I do get what you’re saying, and I’m right there with you.  I do fear what the exodus means for the commentariat, though...  I feel like what made the comment section…

I 100% agree, but I also love Fahey, which is why I want him to leave for greener pastures. None of the GMG sites are what made them great any more. Deadspin died, Jalopnik isn’t close to what it was, and now Kotaku has died.

Yeah, it does take a concerted effort NOT to resort back to a stealth archer; however, that’s where mods come in and help.  I’ve found playing a mage a lot more fun with a few mods.

Oblivion was the first game to draw me into RPGs. I was predominantly an FPS fan. However, I’m a huge fantasy nerd, so when I heard and read about Oblivion, I built a custom PC built specifically to get the most out of that game. Then came along Skyrim and I just lost myself in it. So Oblivion started it for me, but…

Skyrim. Over and over and over again. Different races, different genders, different paths. Add in mods and it’s just one of those games to which I keep going back. I rang in 2021 by standing atop the Throat of the World as the clock ticked over to 00:01 on January 1st.

Thank god someone finally asked Ja Rule’s opinion.

Seriously. My wife actually encourages my gaming. We spend a lot of quality time together, so our time apart, such as when I’m gaming, is her chance to do those little things that she enjoys, such as washing trashy reality TV. We each have our outlets, and mine is video games.
