It is, yes. Until today I don't remember Fuller confirming it was a prequel. And this article is definitely written in such a way that leads me to believe he hadn't yet.
Anyone else momentarily confused at why Price was speaking to John Boehner, only to remember that this is happening before Boehner's retirement in October 2015? I know I was.
Seriously, again with the prequel setting? Didn't we learn our lesson last time? No? Ok, then.
Still better than what Family Guy's been doing recently.
I feel like Sudeikis' Joe Biden gets lost in the historical shuffle compared to Tina Fey's Sarah Palin. Especially considering, if we're being honest, it was nowhere near a good impression. Just really funny in an absurd sort of way. Kind of like Chevy Chase's Gerald Ford.
He's a teenager who thought the girl he actually cares about was cheating on him with a guy who was essentially stalking them and taking candid pictures of them in his backyard. And he's a teenager.
True. Although to be fair he did turn out to be a basically decent guy.
How so?
Not to mention completely subverting the "1980s Popular Guy" trope with Steve Harrington. I kept waiting for him to turn out to be a total scumbag but it turned out he was actually a good guy.
Do yourself a favor and spin their first album as well. Some really great tunes on there.
Am I the only one that actually kind of liked Go On? Yes? Ok, never mind then.
Most excited for Moose Blood's Blush this Friday. I've had the album cover as my Disqus avatar for months now. Big fan of the band and love every song they've put out from the record thus far. I really can't stress enough how good that band is. Their debut, I'll Keep You In Mind, From Time To Time is really something…
What does Riz Ahmed have anything to do with this?
This show is way, way too good. I know the creative team has said this is supposed to just be a one-off but this thing is just begging to get the anthology treatment and fill that True Detective-sized hole in everyone's hearts. Here's hoping HBO convinces Zaillian and co. to give it another go next year.
Movie: The Nice Guys
TV: Better Call Saul Season 2
Music: Goodness - The Hotelier
Video Games: Dark Souls III
You better cheque yourself before you wreque yourself.
My top ten so far:
Yeah true, I forgot about that. It was a real nightmare of a year. Luckily 2020 is a presidential election year, when Democrats tend to turn out in greater numbers.
Like I said, I hope you're right. Would really, really love to be wrong on this one.
