You know what flag me and block me on this site. Some have this liberal purity thing that doesn’t exist in dealing with actual humans. She seems like a good person that’s definitely good enough and she trys. Why am I even defending someone that doesnt need defense?  I’m in a bad mood and shit like this is annoying. Of

The backlash against that idea was strong, but she says she only found out about it from friends, since she avoids social media.

They never defeated France. The wars went into overtime and were won when the American relievers took the field.

I think you give Twitler too much credit. He called Rubio “Little Marco” simply because he’s short.

You don’t want your racist slurs to be sexist now do you?

I’d love to go back to tell the me that just saw Captain America the First Avenger that seven years later I’d see Bucky fighting in Wakanda with a sentient raccoon on his arm and not only would it make complete sense, it would fucking rule. What an astonishing achievement the MCU is.

The people on here complaining that “the snap” didn’t mean anything are missing the point, or in a larger sense can’t just appreciate the moment. Obviously a lot of these characters are going to come back, but it doesn’t change the feeling I had watching them die after investing 18 movies into them. Also, the impact

I’m so done with everyone saying, “The deaths don’t matter because they’re all coming back.” It fucking matters to the characters! It matters to the entire world population cut in half! If you can stretch your imagination to accept space aliens and a thunder god, you can stretch it to sympathize with said aliens and

So, two things.

From the point of view of the characters these deaths, these losses, mean something, and I would hope by now you’d be invested enough in the characters (and the way they’re portrayed by these actors) to appreciate what it means for them IN the story.

Infinity War II: The Wrath of Stark

You’re totally right. These deaths aren’t about what those characters mean to us, they’re about what those characters mean to the survivors. Tony will have the worst case of survivor’s guilt ever recorded. How they rally will be their truest moments of heroism.

Also a fantastic capper to Loki’s arc: he dies after fucking up a betrayal that’s not remotely as clever as he thinks it is, and his last words end up being completely wrong.

Do you want a DC Universe, because THAT’S HOW YOU GET A DC UNIVERSE!

So... first off... SO many people missing the point about the deaths. Yes, I’m sure it feels great to brag about how much smarter you are because you know they’re coming back... and how everyone else is stupid... but it’s not about YOU, it’s about the story, the narrative. From the point of view of the characters

a broken, unhinged Tony Stark hellbent on saving the universe and not himself

Maybe just sit this franchise out.

The Hulk is scared and embarassed. It’s the first real dick kicking he’s ever really gotten and the fight wasn’t even close. That’s gotta be a confidence killer. So I thought it made sense and was a good narrative choice that he didn’t wanna come out.

“Mr. Stark, I don’t wanna go. I don’t wanna go” I WAS AND AM STILL A MESS EVEN IF HE’S COMING BACK.

I mean, Buffy Forever, but Joss needs to accept that what was progressive 11 years ago is behind the times now. It’s a spot of comfort to me in a country that seems to be regressing — people who care about discrimination continue to willingly evolve and to demand better from their new entertainment.
