Can’t wait to see the movie adaptation. (only half kidding)

Screw Kimmel are words by which life should be lived.
Yes, I agree that the “story” can be basic as hell and still perfect and loved - my go-to example for this are the Legend of Zelda games. Even with all the time/world travelling, they’re pretty straightforward, but they work. They don’t need to be any more complicated, just like Hitman doesn’t.
Gamers, I think, tend to have somewhat of an inflated view of the quality of storytelling in games, and everybody else goes hard in the opposite direction.
Thanks!! Had no idea it had to be changed because of nazis. Gee. They really did fuck everything up eh.
I think that the manji is inverted - very slight difference, but the uh legs are turning the other way around. I’m not 100% sure, but anyway it’s a very small difference.
Good. It’s pricey for DLC for given that you’re paying for essentially for an 80% new game, it seems very fair.
I’m going with Conquest because I miss my brother, essentially, and think that the family that raises you is more important than blood.
Yesssss this is the update I was waiting for. To outfit everyone before downloading!
False accusations of rape can be prosecuted as misuse of police time/resources, obstruction of justice, libel, etc. so there is “some kind of punishment.”
I stopped reading Batman around the time the New 52 started because of a buncha reasons. But this development is intriguing me - well, I’ve been intrigued since Gordon took over, but I haven’t had the chance to read.
I’m a a bit heartbroken that they’ve chosen to split Apollo and Midnighter... They were one of the original gay couples, and the first one to get married, too, if I recall. In the Authority continuity they raised a child, got separated and back together, endured lots... So it’s a bit sad that they’ve been taken apart…
Given that I’ve yet to read Bakemonogatari, I couldn’t judge. Gintama is the hardest manga I’ve ever translated, doesn’t mean it’s literally the hardest out there. For that matter, I would balk at translating Jin cause the amount of medical terms would be extremely difficult, or Shut Hell for the amount of mongol…
Nope. Assembled every bit of furniture in my home, felt like a grown woman, then realised it wasn’t that hard anyway. I dunno how it used to be, but the instructions are pretty clear nowadays.
Oh yeah, I didn’t take it as a complain or anything! I love Gintama, it was the first comic I read in Japanese. I wish I could still get the raws as easily as I used to... I’m way behind though. Stopped reading round the Yoshiwara arc. I wonder if I could buy digital editions from amazon.jp?
Can’t believe he was with us at E3 in Muppet form and now he is gone. State of shock this morning - may he rest in peace and free of pain. Godspeed, Mr. Iwata! You will be sorely missed!
I haven’t read the available scans, but as a translator, believe you me, Gintama is hard to translate. Hard. And not for the usual reasons why Japanese is more difficult than, say, English, but the sheer amount of word play, puns, pop references, and accents he uses for comedic reasons are nearly impossible. Back when…
Give it up for Sorachi! There’s a man with a sense for drama, humor, and drawing himself as a gorilla!
I have endless memories of kinda-posh hotels with nice gardens you weren’t allowed to run in and stores where the only thing I was allowed to buy was one (1) Milky-Way and Archie comics. Would never touch them any other time of the year!
They’re obviously playing Splatoon.
