What are you asking me, if I would support foreign military intervention in this hypothetical? Like the british supplying military aid and financing to insurgent Dems? Lol...No, do you?

What about a US-led coup? If that was the only way to remove Maduro, would you support a US-led coup?

Wrong.

Wrong.

He’s a regular Splinter centrist commenter, so no.

The last election did not remove Maduro from office as president, he won that vote, the opposition refused to participate - until they did, refused UN observance and generally have been sabotaging the process from the very beginning. I am not arguing that Maduro is good, I am arguing that the opposition also does not

Oh you sweet summer child. In Georgia we had the guy in charge of the election essentially rig it in his favor. In NC, republicans had guys filling out absentee ballots. Wheres the national guard?

Unfortunately for Guaido, I have declared myself President of Venezuela.

You claimed that dictators don’t step down, I gave you two that did. While Pinochets ouster wasnt perfect it was peaceful and opened the door for democracy in the country. The Senator for life title comes from their constitution and it is a position available for ex-presidents.I am not defending it but SA politics

It may surprise you to learn this but its probably not very accurate to compare cheeseburgers to us military intervention, thats not a venn diagram that overlaps, bud.

Plenty of dictators have stepped down, Pinochet is a famous example and more recently Abdelaziz Bouteflika of Algeria has stepped down after two decades in power.

A los gringos les encanta la guerra porque la mayoria solo lo conoce de television y peliculas

For real “Lithuania stands with Guiado!” Ok......

Buddy, you always have the option to disengage from my thread. Don’t reply to my post then whine when I reply to your comments on my post.

A third party intermediary sounds wonderful, but that still requires agreement from Maduro, which will not be forthcoming. He will not accept anything that forces him to cede power in any way.”

But they are currently doing those things. It just seems like you lack the courage to take an actual position but thats ok. It doesn’t really matter if you personally don’t like Maduro, you’re not Venezuelan so thats not for you to determine. The only thing that matters is if you support the US-backed coup or not.

Literally more legitimate than say, the governor of Georgia.

If you think that the US is interested in Venezuelan Democracy and human rights then you are just willfully ignorant. Whats the difference between Maduro and The House of Saud, literal slave owners and our good friends and allies?

Lol, you sweet summer child. Its more like the national guard, with funding and support from a foreign country trying to remove an elected leader.

Then what is your position? You don’t support a coup but youre ok with it if it happens? You’re on my thread, buddy, you responded to me.
