Dan really didn’t see that one coming from the Democrats.
Dan really didn’t see that one coming from the Democrats.
I’ve only been back on Gawker sites for like a week but are most of the commenters truly such dense, disingenuous bootlickers now?
Its a gamble, who is going to give this guy money? I feel like half these presidential campaigns are over before they begin.
I can tell you from experience that Florida Dems are probably the most disorganized, myopic state party in the country. Rick Scott won because Old Bill Nelson was asleep at the wheel and put on a shitty campaign.
As a Floridian I can tell you that not even Republicans in Florida will go for this. DeSantis’ biggest test is how he handles our environmental issues. Tourism is a big economic factor and no one wants to be the guy who put an oil platform off our shores.
I’ve got a bed he could die in.
Since when do rich white people ever pay a price?
And the consequences for failing to meet the second deadline that is set in the second letter will be dire indeed for the House Ways and Means Committee is drafting a third letter that will sternly tell the president to release his tax returns if he doesn’t want a fourth letter.
I agree that both the Soviet Union and the United States of America are what could be considered Evil Countries, sure.
I think calling the soviet union evil is hyperbole to say the least. I think evil is a problematic term in this context as I see little to no difference between the US and the Soviet Union in this regard. You could say that the United States was born as an evil country since a large part of its economy relied on…
Its excellent, Ianucci is killing it right now.
That Jolly Green Hillfuck..
Much like “The Thick of It” before it for British politics, “Veep” I think its an uncomfortably accurate portrayal of our own. Most of our politicians are party careerists who vapidly follow trends and buzzwords and are largely incompetent.
A good argument for publicly financed elections.
Debt is just a fact of life for Americans, especially millenials and younger. We enter adulthood tens of thousands of dollars in debt. We need politicians in office who understand this, who live this. I believe people like Abrams are in a position to understand our generational issues in ways older politicians simply…
Fuckin’ Billionaires man. Can’t live with em, can’t eat them (I have a sensitive stomach). What to do with them, really?
Eric Swallwell is running for President because its good for his political career, not because he would make a good president.
Isnt this the vapin’ congressman who despite using 250k in campaign funds for personal use also managed to overdraw their bank account 1100 times in 7 years? Something to the tune of $40k in fees if I recall.
Look, Ill be the first to say its not a good look but I’d give this article a read:
Actually, yes.
