@hailmarty: Yeah, thats pretty much how we make it. Except some mexicans only put meat apparently and some use only hominy. I myself like mostly hominy with the occasional meat but my mom puts a ton meat sometimes.

@m4bandit: Yeah, it can be good like 10% of the time. But fuck I hate how its all greasy and I feel disgusting after eating it. I use lots of salt to mask the taste when I have no other choice.
