Lol that’s not how rights work. You don’t have to pay taxes and have a license for the right to speech, privacy, assembly, etc. If you have to pay for something, it’s a privilege.

Guess who’s now on the no-fly list.
A world without power is a scary concept, and various fictional accounts indicate that nukes have a very powerful EMP effect. I learned something today because you asked. Thank you.
“It’s not something that should be illegal, but it’s extraordinarily dangerous and extraordinarily silly.”
Thank you! Thank you for not falling into the “it’s dangerous and silly so it should be illegal” trap. These people aren’t harming anyone, and if they make the decision to increase risk voluntarily, that’s their…
Thank you for this story. Most people think mating an existing engine to an existing chassis or a turbo to an existing engine is easy peasy. Great write up on the complexities of it all.
Obviously he meant he was going over the crest better, and then he was crashing. :)
God be with you.
He was standing on the brake pedal, trying to do a burnout. The fronts were locked.
Okay, so you’re not making the argument that increased access to guns leads to increases in violent crime. I misunderstood your original comment.
Maybe guns don’t prevent crime (contrary to statistics in the UK). But they definitely don’t cause crime. Your original comment is correct, that banning guns will reduce gun deaths. But you have yet to make a compelling argument that it would necessarily reduce OVERALL deaths. I don’t think the dead people care if…
Every developed nation (and DC and Chicago) that has banned guns saw a significant rise in violent crimes that never returned to pre-ban levels with ONE exception. In Australia the violent crime rate did not significantly change.
Vans don’t kill people, people kill people.
And if you banned vans, less people would die from vans. Your point?
Engineering, tooling, etc. Building one of something is easy. Building tens of thousands of them (all identical) is very difficult and costs a LOT of money.
Hey you take that back! She’s a nice lady!
I have never said the following words about any form of racing before: That does not look like fun at ALL. I enjoy riding my bike through the woods, and I like taking the RZR out on gnarly technical trails, but fuck that ^ shit.
I’m with you. You will never make enough traction where that much torque makes sense, and if you did you’d probably break other shit.
Lol a misunderstanding indeed. I read “it doesn’t matter” to mean “you shouldn’t care about having a gas car if you don’t use the available range often.” It was my mistake if that was not what you intended.
I will buy a noisy, mechanical, high maintenance car for the same reason I own a carbureted motorcycle. Because I want to. Tell me how wrong I am.
Since when do you get to decide what matters in the lives of other people?
