@Sheccid: Porblem sloved.
@Sheccid: Porblem sloved.
Who needs productivity and hard copies when you can save a small fraction of a tree?
@icypalmtree: I see what you're saying, but the point of the CR-48 isn't to showcase the hardware; it's to showcase the software. From what I understand, they have no intention of turning this into a consumer product. It was made solely for the beta testers.
@icypalmtree: This wasn't at all designed to be a consumer product. This was designed to be quickly and efficiently made, while being inexpensive to the company. It was made for beta testers of Chrome OS, and that's it.
@Lady-Succubus: That's where autosave comes into play.
@GT Moore: Huh, I hadn't noticed that. You're right!
@FriedPeeps: haha, I do the same thing. In fact, that's what I did here. I get quite moody at night, so I say some things I don't mean. Apologies, my good man.
@FriedPeeps: Redacted for late-night douchiness. My bad, bro.
@FriedPeeps: "Venting" about content in the comments is discouraged, but I'm sure you already know that.
@FriedPeeps: If you care enough to complain about content in a comment, then you can also email them.
@Zinger314: Creepy thread is creepy.
@FriedPeeps: Email an editor instead of complaining here, please.
@dogcow: I think you need to stop being ungrateful.
@singletona: Knowing Google, the OS will most likely fill out in time. But you're right; as of right now, the functionality is a bit limited.
@Netscott: The video would be better suited for #whitenoise than in the comments of an article, IMO.
@GizmoTron9000: I think this OS might be geared more towards netbooks. It seems like a very simplistic operating system.
@Salacion: Have you tried Chrome OS yet?
@kingmaker: These laptops aren't meant to be a consumer product; they're meant to test Chrome OS.
I like the overall design of this machine. It's quite ThinkPad-esque.
