yes. it definitely deserves a spot. It was sort of an inspiration for movies like scream. I thought it was ahead of it's time and unlike most of the other slashers from the 80's.
Actually... I encountered some enemies, in that empty world, that I didn't kill during the first playthrough. Scared the shit outta me every time. Running around a corner and this bad guy jumping at me.
I noticed on the still image at the end of the trailer that Booker DeWitt still has the A.D. carved in his hands... hmmm...interesting.
