I remember Colbert making Sumner Redstone jokes back in the Colbert Report days, but I don’t know if they were John Oliver AT&T/Business Daddy type shots or if it went further.

It was a Vertigo series, pre-New 52 but not by many years.

Weirdly, this actually makes me want to see Tarantino’s Trek movie. On the surface the idea of a sequel to “A Piece of the Action” sounds as bad as when TNG ripped off “The Naked Time”, but it’s just so out there it might actually go someplace interesting.

My favourite moment in Dave (besides his best guess on the lyrics to Hail To The Chief) is Oliver Stone on TV insisting that the president has been replaced by a double.

Celebrity controversies use the buddy system, apparently.

He’ll post a painting of her on his Instagram.

Was never followed by anyone as famous as Chrissy Teigen, but I can definitely relate to the joy/pain that comes from being followed and then unfollowed by someone infinitely cooler than you on Twitter.

Tablets are just IMAX phones.

So... international theatrical release, followed by U.S. streaming and disc release in the fall? Maybe Nolan goes for it if we just all promise not to watch it on our phones.

It’s already been too much longer.

I love this movie so much.
