A good point.
But first, we don't know that.
Second, intentional camp still has to be evaluated on entertainment value and while UTD is campy & wtf, I'm not sure it is especially entertaining.

Someone should attempt a timeline graphic.
I would SO heart that with the entirety of my arteries.

It's terrible that I scrolled for this comment thread before even reading the review.
I'll own that.

Here's a translation of the chat text on the screen:

Nah, she refers to her later when Elliot asks her to go to the boss' shindig.

was this supposed to be a reply to someone's comment?

Right, I figured an apple martini, what I'm saying is, that's a very particular drink. So why did they choose that particular drink. The most notable thing about it is its color, which it shares with absinthe. Hence, my speculation that it's another wink at the audience about the nature of Mr. Robot that we all

lol I just made the exact same observation about Mr. Robot. I think we're expected to understand he's not real. Elliot doesn't know but I feel like the show is going out of its way to wink at us about it. They know we have Fight Club as the obvious reference so they can't be trying to misdirect us.

First, about damn time, TV Club. But I get it, you were leery of the channel.

It's because King loves schlock, by his own admission. I think he sees some of the adaptations, most notably the Shining as a rejection of that undercurrent of Americana that runs through all his work.

some sort of transparent … barrier? … with an indeterminate curvature and inconsisent diameter?

I reluctantly made a placeholder for tradition's sake but I'd much rather he came back to assume the mantle of Official Witness.

*sigh*
fine.
CUT MY COW! IN TWO PIECES!!

I don't understand why AV is freezing that show out.

This could almost be a mixdown of The Stand and the Tommyknockers with a smidgen of Needful Things.

Hey, where's the guy who would always post "CUT MY COW! IN TWO PIECES!" or was it "CUT MY COW! INTO PIECES!"?
We need that commentary, someone find that guy.

For those disappointed in the painting, I think I have an explanation for you:

She's been giving her shade in every scene they've shared.

Just watched this for the second time. The second viewing was because 1) super late at night and 2) wanted to see if my wtf levels went down on second viewing, especially since I had not seen the first 30 minutes.
