Exactly. So frustrating. No one can bunt anymore either. If some of these guys worked on it more, they could force the opponent to abandon the shift. It baffles the mind how horrible these guys are at bunting (especially in the AL).

I’m all for rule changes to speed up pace of play including a pitch clock, but this is getting silly. It’s just good strategy, but it can be beaten. How about the players learn how to bunt (one of my pet peeves) or learn how take an outside pitch to the opposite field? GIT GUD scrubs!
