You do understand that the more Republicans that are elected, the easier it will be for Trump to further the GOP agenda should he be re-elected? You don’t see that it is problematic that moderate Democrats are supporting a Republican that would result in such?

Remember, unity only matters until the status quo is threatened. This is even more true if the status quo that is being threatened will result in wealthy political donors losing money.

You know, I’m starting to think of we had an opposition leader instead of a collaboration, “pragmatism” leader maybe we wouldn’t be in this position.
I’m saying that Nancy Pelosi is directly responsible for where we are today with Omar being a convenient target. Not indirect, direct.

She’s not responsible for his actions, no, but she has enabled them, in this instance, and with funding concentration camps and white supremacy, and in fundamentally misjudging the nature of Trumpism, to be more impactful.

She sure ain’t been much fucking help on any of it. She could at least have the decency to not further “other” Congresswoman Omar with comments about how she has no real constituency and like 4 voters that like her. I’d take Omar and her courage over Pelosi any day of the week.

The Democrats have been playing this game for a long time. Treating the left as “kooky”, “crazy”, “out there”, “have their public whatever” (funny you’ve never seen Pelosi refer to Joe Manchin’s “public whatever”). As the saying goes, play stupid games win stupid prizes
