I doubt you would get Attempted Murder: Probably Vehicular assault or Aggravate Assault. The motorcyclist would likely get a ticket for an illegal pass, but that doesn't give a driver license for intentionally hitting someone with a vehicle.

Don’t worry, cranky Male Rights Activist typing from his mother’s basement. People can be disgusted by a murder plot committed by a lady while finding the absurdity in a comment about a statutory rapist caught in said murder plot being normal.

When I’m in LA I exclusively use Lyft. I’ve never had an issue or felt unsafe.

I don’t know! Lyft is so much better - they actually send an employee to ride with potential new drivers to make sure they’re not psychopaths (Uber does not), and does more extensive background checks. They’re much, much more responsive to customer complaints and are a smaller company with better control.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect that professional sportswriters who bother to comment on this situation have some semblance of prior knowledge of Matt Barnes’ record. Especially given that a lot of them are using that very record as a basis for their back-slapping chortles.
