I am pretty sure this service is entirely a scam, or at least sham.
It’s landing page has no links, and there are dead links that come up on google (terms of use, prices, etc).
The picture also highlights the pretty student, more than the teachers, which suggests its not on the up & up.
If something is too good to be…
This reminds me of a scam in Japan where men sign up to “service” bored housewives, and then just ended up getting fleeced with registration fees and so-on by their pimps.
As stated in my other posts, real as in women who play games instead of female game characters.
I think if you read my other posts, you’ll find my position is a bit more nuanced than my first post.
I’m sorry your girlfriend would like to punch me in the throat.
I think that’s the primary point I wanted to bring up - it’s another example of the Japanese “Galapagos” concept.
I think you’re right that it’s probably not as much an issue in Japan.
I was more thinking Japanese games somewhat limit themselves in the international market like this, though.
I mean “real” as in women who play games of all sorts - not the more controversial “real gamers”.
I think you’re right that there’s a section who don’t mind or enjoy this sort of fan-service, but I think toning down the fan service would make it more accessible to people in general.
I don’t mind cute girls in games, but this whole style of boobs bursting out of clothes has gotten quite tiresome.
I wish Japanese game-makers would realize it also turns real female gamers off from their games, and keeps it a niche-otaku thing.
When I was living in Japan, I got Bravely Default about a year after everyone else, and was surprised by how many super-high powered limit break (forgot the Bravely Default term) attacks I would get on my morning commute.
It was kind of fun to be loosely connected and helping each other out in that way, and I liked it…
It taught me:
Yeah, that actually drove me crazy for my first 2 years.
Luckily it seems to be a trait of stodgy people / institutions, after I changed jobs to working with younger & more international Japanese folks, I didn’t encounter it anymore.
It’s got the buttons and plays the Mario and Zelda games.
All anyone really needs to know, right?
It really depends on what you’re looking for, there’s lots of neat areas.
I think the Tsukiji fish market is closed now, but if it’s still on that can be very neat if you’re up for being there at 5am for a tour, or being repeatedly chased out of the market otherwise.
Omotesando and Harajuku are nice during the day,…
Yeah, the only difference is there was no social media back then. ;-)
I would agree that actual crime was probably much higher, but I’m not sure everything there can be termed “infinitely” more shocking back in the 60s.
I’ve never really slurped noodles, and I would say there’s a big range on how much vigor Japanese people do it.
Looks very good. I hope they don’t railroad you into too much killing of unarmed / incapacitated people though.
True to the 80s vibe we should be able to send them to a prison run by an eye-patched police chief if we want to.
I’m a big fan of Oliver, too!
Who would you vote best girl?
I’m a Kloe Rinz fan.
