Speaking as a CT native; clam pizza is just gross.  State food is and has been for 100 years the steamed cheeseburger.  

Back then the DQ burger “The Brazier” was really good; unlike the frozen super-market trash they serve now.  Also don’t forget the OG Little Ceasar’s pizza in the paper sleave.  And possibly the last days of the wonderful Roy Roger’s roast beef sammich.

Very busy location and very highly rated, but apparently owners got fed up with corporate shenanigans and couldn’t find a buyer due to the other 3 locations in this medium small town that opened up in a 5 year span.

Out in the burbs where I live 2 out of 4 of the local Subways have closed in the last few years; one of them was a regional training center for other franchisees.  Long term store owners are giving it up as an increasingly bad deal.  Subway is basically Darth Vadering the franchisees.  “We have altered the deal; pray…

Only had Sbarro’s once; someone at work stopped there for take out and called in to see if anyone wanted anything.  Tried a slice of some kind of ‘stuffed’ pizza; wasn’t terrible.
