"We're screwed either way—Republicans and Democrats are exactly the same."
"We're screwed either way—Republicans and Democrats are exactly the same."
"I’m pretty decent at puzzles and also have a fair amount of experience taking older road photos and figuring out where they were."
Yeah, I think the second half of that sentence had a little more to do with this than the first half.
Haven't gotten a chance to listen to it yet. I'm currently mired in writing a 12-15 page paper for my Project Management class, so I'll have to listen to it later tonight.
You may ask why I'm screwing around on the internet instead of focusing on the paper. You'd have a point.
I added this to a comment above, about calling a rep to thank them:
"when you call and thank them, make sure explicitly why you're thankful. Reps need to hear what we the people want. Even if this bill doesn't clear the Senate, those GOP motherfuckers in the House will continue to try to undermine every single…

Mother fucker. I responded and THEN read your "See also, November 2016" comment.
To be fair, an unvetted yodelling asshole with no experience, no platform, and tax problems was elected President last year, so the cowboy might still have a chance.
I generally like Grizzly Bear, but some of their slower stuff is boring as fuuuuuuuuck.
No, I've only seen Ong-Bak 1 & 2. He whoops some major ass in those movies.
Eternal Sunshine came out right on the heels of an absolutely brutal breakup for me. I was really nervous about seeing it, because I was afraid that all the hurt and anguish I was experiencing would be manifested onscreen and I'd be unable to take it.
My surprisingly positive takeaway from the movie, however, was that…
A lot of Americans are resistant to change, especially when it comes to our pop culture (that's why it seems like Hollywood is jam-packed with retreads and the "good" movies don't get enough attention). It's a shame we aren't more open-minded as a culture. When we're confronted with an unfamiliar situation or…
Yeah. Not to sniff my own farts or anything, but I am happy I went into the movie with an open mind.
It looks a little goofy if you're only used to American action movies that came out before the year 2000. I went into it with no expectations (except to see some badass kung-fu) and was floored by what transpired on the screen. The derisive laughter just struck me as a complete lack of understanding that movies from…
As I mentioned, it was my first experience with wuxia (or any Chinese films, really), and it blew me away. I went in not knowing what to expect and was absolutely stunned by the movie. To this day, it's one of my all-time favorites.
Tony Jaa is such a badass.
I remember being so annoyed by the laughter when they first flew in Crouching Tiger. I knew nothing about Chinese cinema, but I knew I was witnessing movie magic happen in real time. It was captivating and the troglodytes around me just didn't get it.
That'll be the same people who think pre-existing conditions are only for those who haven't led good lives.
To be fair, a baby born with a congenital heart defect hasn't led a good life. I mean, he hasn't led any life at all, but let's not get bogged down in all that.
Sure, I'll bite.

Who haven't I seen?
Man, the Summit was the greatest, wasn't it? I remember seeing the Harlem Globetrotters there with my Boy Scout troop. That was fun.
The first concert I ever attended was John Michael Montgomery at the Houston Rodeo in, oh, probably 1993 or so. My girlfriend was really into country music at the time.
First concert I saw…
It's very similar to the "Is [Player] elite?" discussion you see on sports channels. Because "elite" vs. "very good" has any bearing whatsoever on anything the player does.
