This sounds kind of dumb, but it can happen; throwing the ball RIGHT next to someone who's trying to full force knock it back into the hands could cause the wind to slow the ball down, thus changing its trajectory.

I'm not too familiar on these rules, but if he were to distance himself from this guy, is there any chance he could actually play?

Literally ironic that Jay Cutler isn't afraid to take an unnecessary shot unless you count vaccinations.

Honestly, if you watch the woman getting hit from the beginning, it really looks like she tries to time when the car is coming. She doesn't start running until the first car has driven by, there's NO way she couldn't have seen the car that hit her.

it's pretty dumb to assume that just because the guy makes money means he doesn't care for the players. It was a dick move to show the whole injury in the first place.

I didnt?

Great set, but there's a ton of SNL sound mixes that sound awesome. One that comes to mind is Frank Ocean's performances, especially with John Mayer there.

I got the point. I didn't rewatch the whole game, so I don't know if they showed that same exact formation or if they were trying to bluff on a couple of them.

I'm actually a Packers fan. Watch the play, and you see Tony tries to get rid of it quickly but pulls it back to take the sack. Half the point of a blitz is to rattle the QB into making a mistake, the other half is just sacking him.

This comment is a perfect demonstration of how you know nothing about football.

This is really cool, but at the same time, if I were on Maryville's team, I would've wanted to at least play. Not necessarily TODAY, but still, would've been great to dedicate my play to the victims.

Illuminada confirmed.

What position did you play, man?

(I'm fucking with you. Congrats on an awesome season, Orioles bro.)

He was on pace to do a lot of cool things in GB before his injury. Hope he finds a place that he can at least back up someone, be a mentor.

In the NFL, if this were to happen (no one touches ball, kicking team touches it), it's just downed at whatever yard, right? The returning team has to touch it for it to be live?

took me a minute to understand the article title. Good job, guys.

There is no argument for a second wildcard. It's insulting to the two teams who are the "first wildcard", it's insulting to fans as they try to advertise this as "playoff baseball", because this isn't the playoffs. This is the game to get in the playoffs.

Joe Girardi 100% planned to take him out. He said that if it got down to 2 outs in the top of the 9th, he would have Jeter circle the field and, when he got to the left field wall, Mariano and the gang would've come out to home plate, and they all would've walked into the tunnel together, sort of riding into the

Honestly, who cares if it was a meatball or not? It was a meaningless game aside from it being Jeters last time in Yankee Stadium as a player.

You're the only one because that didn't happen.
