I never said it changes, but in a play like that, you run the risk of ruining the game for one team by making a terrible call.

Ah, okay. Thanks for the clarification!

They signed him to a 10 day contract. Is that normal in the NBA? I know Chris Anderson was signed to one before becoming a permanent member. Is this the same case, or is it strictly 10 days?

He's not wrong. I've played the beta and have sometimes spent almost 1:30 not finding a human player. The game isn't bad because of it, and I still love it, but he's most definitely not wrong in his claim.

I'm not saying if someone comes up the court and is clotheslined, it shouldn't be called. What I meant was that if its a bang bang play, as this one was (its iffy it was a charge or a block), then why even cause controversy and call it?

He jumps in as Fair is leaving the ground, and doesn't really set himself completely to be given a charge. Its a bang bang play, but besides the point, with 10 seconds left, i don't know why you would call a foul at all.

This seems to be different, though. Usually its due to lack of money, or just shitty games. This just seems like Levine doesn't want to do big stuff anymore. I honestly feel for the devs getting laid off, I can only assume they'll get a full recommendation from Ken.

I never got stuff like that. Actresses/Models (certain ones) are so careful to avoid topless leaks or anything like that, but pose in wet shirts, basically see through lingerie.

They did climb it barehanded.

Did he jump off, or climb back down?

We must just differ on what we think of as unethical. I would say that the people making games NOW that are just clearly trying to ride on the popularity of Flappy Bird is what's unethical, but eh, agree to disagree.

My point is the same as it has been the whole time, you're judging this man off of one thing he did in his life, and the thing you're accusing him of doing he hasn't even done.

Just because a game lacks creativity does not mean its creator is not morally correct. He's made it clear he didn't create this game to make a ton of money and did not expect the reaction he got.

You're basing your opinion off of the fact that a video game he creates is using a pipe that looks like one in Mario. That's petty and childish. That's my point. You know nothing about this person other then a cell phone game he made, and you're forming opinions on his personal character.

You're implying that the guy who made Flappy Bird isn't ethical in that statement, something that you have NO proof to back up. Just because you don't like what he did, that's your opinion, and that doesn't make him unethical.

The original statement I made referred to your saying that it wasn't jealous, petty people making comments, but ethical app developers. I highly doubt that any of the app developers that make apps would condone the behavior that people have shown this guy, or that they resent him so much, because nearly every app in

And also, before you refer me to the original article by Jason, even he needed to update it and clarify that the art is not lifted from the game, its just drawn in a very unoriginal manner.

I'm saying that there are tons of games that use Mario's pipes, but yet kotaku isn't posting about them. There are tons of games that use mario as a playable character, and the game is basically a super mario ripoff, and yet you're here telling me that his entire game is a rip off.
