A Rape Joke, to me anyway, is something that has the punchline of the joke being someone getting raped, or having been raped. The punchline of this joke had absolutely nothing to do with rape, and rape really only served as a tool to show how bad off the NPC had it in the dungeon. It wasn't a "laugh at me I'm being

This sure is funny given the fact that Farrah Abraham doesn't even know what the word feminist means.

So what's wrong with the way they handled it? Everyone came out and started telling people to boycott PAX and the website and demanded an apology for the rape joke they made. But it wasn't a rape joke. So why is it so bad how they handled themselves? They aren't glorifying rape.

And as far as the other points some people's posts brings up, Disney ROUTINELY covers up rape/harassment that happens within its parks, firing people who report it rather then settle with them, or acknowledge it happened, so I guess you're disgusted with them, and all of there intellectual properties for enabling them

Thank you. THIS. It wasn't about rape. Being raped was not the punchline of the joke.

But it wasn't a rape joke. It was a joke about an MMO quest and how most gamers don't go out of their way to save more then then necessary amount of people. The rape panel in the middle wasn't the punchline.

The joke wasn't about rape. It was about rescuing people in MMO's when you hit the quest req, rape was used to illustrate a horrible scenario in one panel, it wasn't the punchline. People need to get the fuck over themselves. PAX is one of the best places for gamers, Mike and Jerry are two awesome people, period.

Don't get all the hate for this system. Its such a smart idea. Its not targeted towards people on Kotaku and people that read about video games. Its for parents who are tired of their kids destroying their products and having to spend another $200.

Hm, I really don't know what to think now. Everywhere else has had pretty positive reviews, saying they improved on last year and polished it up.

You schedule in time to have relations with your wife and spend time with your kids?

Two things I'm curious about:

I think the main argument with buying new stuff at launch (including apple products, so true, video..) is that there's such a high risk for errors and failures, it kind of defeats the point.

I'm not saying that every person that lives in Cleveland isn't a Browns fan, I just meant that I'm sure there are people that live in towns where the team they root for isn't able to be watched every Sunday.

I don't think you're ever going to get a system that lets you pay for ONLY football games, and no announcers or commercials or breaks or something. The NFL and its channel partners get way too much money.

A lot of people live in places where they can't watch the team they root for. I, for one, live in NY, but am a Packers fan. I get a lot of games of theirs due to them being a primetime team, but not as many as I'd like.

I remember when this deal first came out, it was listed as the first 50,000 copies of Maddens Anniversary Edition. I preordered it the day it was announced, so I HOPED i was good.

He definitely should NOT have said the kill yourself thing, but you make it sound as if Fish came out and totally attacked Beer unprovoked. He said in his podcast/show that Fish and Blow were assholes and owed it to people to answer questions.

I guess the draw for some are special/hardcover strategy guides, that might feature artwork?

Agreed! All I meant was, its silly for people to pile on Fish as if he came out of the blue and told a person to kill themselves. It was a stupid thing to say, but it was said out of a moment of anger due to the fact someone was calling him out.

Oh, Fish could and SHOULD definitely change his attitude. But lets put ourselves in his shoes. Say I was calling you an asshole and a wanker and a bitch all because you refused to answer a question. Wouldn't that rile you up just a bit?
