This is really hard to make live action. Half of what made the original so good was the comicness of ang and the ability of them to go from super animated corny in a blink of an eye. I think live action gets rid of alot of that turning the story into something less.

As a work for hire engineer, I feel for them but they took the sallary to feed their family and produced the work. They no longer have any rights too it.
