To Andrew’s credit, looks like the original poster is David Tracy, whose life seems to be one big Roadkill episode, which is why it’s all the more surprising that he made the mistake.

No, he’s a Nice Guy, so he did it to try to sleep with her.

In a few years when the switch to the new naming convention is complete:

Now if only Ford did the same for Mustang buyers...

Before you climb down off the high horse, maybe read about the Apollo program where 3 guys died in a pad test. Different fuck up, but dead none the less. Then read people like Chris Craft, who ran the damn program, who said that we only barely got to the moon and we did it with accepting levels of risk that would

I was wondering the same. Business insider article seems to indicate they asked for an extension before the deadline and after NHTSA revised their request.

That makes no sense. The NHTSA has already said based on their preliminary findings they found no issues. They also have said they see no reason for shutting it off due to a single incident.

Can this be clarified:

Although, if you’re in the left lane and someone manages to pass you on the right, that probably means it’s okay for you to move into the other lane...

Move to the right, and stop trying to justify your flaccid, passive-aggressive need to be the unofficial traffic cop who clogs up the left lane in a pathetic attempt to force others to abide by your interpretation of the rules of the road.

As a parent who used to have all these things on the family minivan when my kids were little... let’s just say I don’t agree.

That looks like it could be a fun little hot hatch to throw around corners with the right work on it. Little hatchbacks are so awesome.

Especially the Polish version, which the Poles turn into nifty hot hatches for the track. Some of the most fun-looking driving I’ve ever seen.

I do love those. The videos of them in rallys are amazing.

Lanesplitting. The american exceptionalism I guess... It works everywhere in the world, get over it, leave space when stationnary for bikes to pass and you’re good to go.

What if you always checked your mirrors before leaving a lane in other states too?

As a 2 wheeled motorist, it sure sounds like lanespiitting is making you a more aware and focused 4-wheeled motorist. Good.

And the real problem is the massive cargo ships, they emit an unfathomable amount but there is literally, nothing we can do about it.

What happens is that a country can mandate a specific fuel be used in it’s Maritime borders, the U.S. and certain other countries do this. This makes the ships cleaner running. But then

I remember back in the early 80s, when my family didn’t make enough money to be dirt poor, my parents being without a car. My dad was a Plumbers Helper (the base level plumber that’s basically a gopher) and my mother was a stay-at-home mom (because there was no work for her). Anywhere they went, they either had to
