I always liked the looks of the Sky more than the Solstice - I came very close to buying one not long after they went out of production, and really liked the way it drove. But it was going to be my daily driver, and I couldn’t bring myself to buy a car that couldn’t simultaneously have the top down and allow me to put

I’ve found that NB’s casual wear shoes are hit or miss, but their running shoes have been some of my favorites for that purpose (I rotate them into casual use once I’ve put enough running mileage on them).

Goodwoods instagram feed is worth following because they often post these kinds of video.

The low water mark for Lotus was probably the type 75 Elite and the related Elcat. The earliest ones were notoriously unreliable, and the quirky styling of the Elite is definitely an acquired taste. The Excel was probably the best of that particular line - its the best developed and to my eyes the best looking.

I’ve never felt the desire to photograph the Eiffel Tower at night - except for the Citroen sign. One of the wish-I’d-seens.

Welp, my theory is this: lift off oversteer is the likely cause of the initial spin, and I can almost guarantee that the driver was sawing the wheel every which way trying to figure out how to turn into the skid. As the car started to straighten out (but was still rotating), the driver sawed the wheel around some

I guarantee you that this dumbfuck has used that as a threat during a shouting match he was desperately hoping wouldn’t turn into an actual fight.

Close - they somehow get Regular Garlin back, and as he screams it pans out to show he’s standing in front of a mechanics shop, and Cheech Marin trying to tell him he can’t fix his car.

Also, “Regular Garlin” sounds like something you’d see on Urban Dictionary.

I’ve never been able to figure out which is the worse compromise: crew cab long bed that doesn’t really fit in most suburban parking lots, or crew cab short bed that doesn’t really fit anything in the bed*.

*I load a lot of large stuff in other people’s vehicles, and I get to watch people rock up in pickup trucks to

Yeah, the Metra system is really nice. I live way out in the suburbs and it’s far easier to commute to Chicago for work rather than try and drive someplace like Oakbrook or fucking goddamned Schaumburg.

FWIW, I know a guy who did that with a car he owned that broke down. He lived in Washington state at the time (late 90's or early 00's), and he was moving back to Illinois soon, and when it died on him he just left it at the side of the road and walked away. Grabbed a couple of personal belongings and that was it,

Fun Fact - I worked at that mall (it’s in suburban Chicago) back in the 90's. It opened in 1991 or so, and I don’t think it ever had any remodeling till the interior part closed in 2017, and it looks very late 80's. Shit, the record store I worked in closed in about 2002, and it never had a corporate store after that

Dude, I saw that immediately too. Like WTF, did they even watch the video?

I actually think bowler guy is just waving his umbrella angrily.

IKR? Played for laughs at Abe’s expense till the very end. And I kind of liked Abe’s indignation that nobody would take Moishe seriously.

I liked Lenny’s speech to Midge at the end of the episode as well. Because he’s right - Midge is expecting everyone to do the heavy lifting while she tells jokes. It’s funny because

It should’ve at least been on the bumper!

I’m not sure that’s as much of an issue in a tightly packed urban parallel parking scenario. Shoot, the street parking at my old place in Chicago was so tight that you had to dry steer a bit just to stand any chance of getting back out.

There was an entire episode of The Munsters devoted to this exact tactic.

I’m rewatching B99 (I never watched consistently when it was on so I’m seeing a lot of episodes for the first time) and I definitely agree with Amy’s evolution. That said Jake also changes due to their relationship (albeit not nearly as much). I recently saw the episode where they’re planning their wedding, and it’s

I’m her agent’s bot, so can confirm.
