“Two door sedan” is an older term-it literally means a sedan with only two doors. Typically they had a more formal roofline. Coupes usually featured different styling (like the Matador pictured). However by the seventies pretty much any two door was called a coupe, and only four doors were sedans.

I think the only foodstuff I’m willing to transport across state lines is beer. And sometimes, when I’m in Kenosha, I’ll bring back a kringle.

A lot of native Californians also like the whole “secret menu” thing. A lot of them still act like it’s some kind of Secret West Coast Code that you have to be initiated into, even though I read it on the internet in like 1998, well before I was first disappointed by their food.

FWIW, I know at least two people who grew up in California, who (claim that) anytime they’re in an In n Out state, they buy several as close to the airport as they can, put them in some kind of cooler, and bring them back, because everyone craves them. I imagine it’s the crack cocaine or heroin or whatever that they

Much as I’d like an old Hi Ace, I wouldn’t say the Previa is exactly common anymore. Hell, I don’t even recall them being everywhere when they were new - and I don’t think I’ve seen one on the road around here in at least a decade. (YMMV - they might be thicker on the ground out in the desert, for instance)

Who am I kidding. You’d be their parents.

You’d be the King of Radwood in this. Or the Royal Family’s chauffeur in it.

I think that Rebel Wilson rebelwilsoning dressed as a cat would be hilarious in a cartoon (the people behind Tuca & Bertie need to make this happen), but I can’t stand Corden’s jamescordening as a human, much less a horror show cat, so this is a firm no.

Blasphemy! How dare they! I guess I’ll just have to keep my ‘99 coupe (Nassau Blue Metallic, Black interior, Z06 suspension, automatic) a little while longer!

These old farts will all say the same thing: “Too bad GM is trying to get rid of it’s long time customers, I guess I just have to keep my (insert old model year here) a while longer, then.”

Needs more stars.

1.) the logo on the headrests of the pilot seats in the spaceship are the Polish Air Force insignia. I don’t recall seeing it before - any ideas why?

I would set my DVR to watch both of these.

You know, it would probably make a good off road beater. Take the doors off, fully cage it, cut the roof off, flat Lexan windshield attached to the front of the cage. Suspension and drivetrain mods to taste.

For real it’s almost a no-brainer. You might even be able to keep it road registered.

Ah, missed the edit window - I wanted to add that Pepsi and Coca-Cola are such well known brands that they almost don’t have to advertise anymore (what did I read? People who don’t speak English still know the names Elvis, Jesus, and Coca-Cola?). They still do because it’s good business.

FWIW I’d heard of Red Bull before it became widely known here in the States because I’d seen it mentioned in British magazines (I used to read a lot of imported car and music magazines back in the 80's and 90's). So they were fairly well known outside of the states by the time they had their racing team, etc.

I’d

House, only House is replaced with Bertie Wooster

Just jumping off from your post here, but a question: Do summerweight clothes not exist where any of you live? I get that a lot of people (and men in particular) don’t like to shop for clothes, but for Pete’s sake there are options out there instead of wearing the same things you wore all winter. You won’t be as

I loved Sick Kookaburra’s first two albums, but then the electric triangle player left and it all went downhill from there.

It’s something that smart people on sitcoms have, so of course he has a chess set.
