I legitimately thought that car had a big old Camry Dent.

“Designo” sounds like the name of an interior design firm started by someone who watched way too much HGTV and thought “Hey, I could do that!”, in the hopes of one day seeing a Designo line of mantelpiece tchotchkes on the shelves at Target.

You didn’t get the direct deposit? Super convenient. Just bring a canceled check or the banking info to your next riot, and drop by the kiosk. They have all the paperwork, usually takes one pay period.

The phrase “Longtime fans of He’s the DJ, I’m the Rapper” brings to mind a guy who has a pristine vinyl copy, limited edition Japanese releases, the original video releases on VHS, and who is consistently disappointed when he goes to a Will Smith concert and he doesn’t do a song from that album.

Those were the best ones to have. I still cuff jeans depending on how long they are, and now I think I need to go get a paisley bandanna and sew it into the bottom of the legs so I can do that.

Happy to - I didn’t really word this well. The bride has a brother. He wasn’t married at the time and brought his girlfriend to the wedding. However he was a groomsman, so he had to sit at the table up front with the rest of the bridal party. Girlfriend was seated at the single person’s table. Mother of the bride (and

I almost always have two bottle openers on me - a keychain (a Corter Bottlehook) and the opener on a Swiss Army Knife. The SAK gets a lot of use, as I’m never near any of my bottle openers at home (yeah, I have a bunch, including like ten old metal church keys with beer logos stamped on them, breweries used to give

The only advantage to the screw cap I can think of is that it’s easier to get a pristine cap for the bottle cap map I’ve been working on for like two years. All this goofing around with masking tape and carefully prying it off a little at a time takes me away from actual drinkery!

Well, they deal with it by putting the horse down, usually. AIUI this competition is illegal in the States.

Car bubbles? No, there’s a fan that runs constantly to circulate the air, and usually some kind of dehumidifier or water trap. Though I bet someone’s done that.

See, that seems about right for an excellent unmodified one with higher miles than this one but not, like six figures or something. I could see this one going for 10K just because it doesn’t appear to have had a ton of cheap mods thrown at it like every other SRT-4 I’ve seen in the last decade.

I’m generally not too bothered by that stuff -if I found it so hideous that I needed to change it I’d have bought the earlier version in the first place, since the values between the two isn’t that great. (I used to feel the same way about people backdating Porsche 911's, till the earlier cars skyrocketed in value

People do it, but usually only if they’re already restoring the car. You have to do some metalwork to the bonnet once you’ve removed the bumpers, and then get paint done. Plus, the mounting points for the two kinds of bumper are quite different, so there’s a lot of parts to swap too. (Same thing with MGB bumper

I’ve only seen random Gilmore episodes, but to me the similarity kind of begins and ends in the fact that everyone talks kind of fast. But this show feels much more like a 30's screwball comedy in that respect - the characters on Gilmore sometimes seemed to just be rattling off words in a panic. The characters on Maise

My reasoning is that the writing on TG for a good few years was stale at best - since it’s essentially the same people doing GT, they’re probably more of the cause than Amazon, which had nothing to do with the BBC show (unless you’re going to say that TG was bad because the BBC made it that way, in which case this

Totally missed out on this one!

I have to disagree - Grand Tour is bad because the writing is bad. It’s even lamer than the last couple of seasons of TG, which I was finding less and less interesting and kind of a bore. Same jokes, same lines, it was like a sitcom in it’s last few years, coasting on catchphrases. GT feels like a spinoff series

Is there a dress code now? High & Tights, leather jackets, and stubble?

I guess I mean independent instead of chain store. Though Binnys does a pretty good job of having interesting stuff.

No, it makes it more valuable, like that cat poop coffee.
