Six of one, half dozen of the other.

I didn’t mind Geos all that much at the time - it was pretty obvious to me that they were badge engineered (confirmed once I started reading about them in magazines), and probably better than whatever GM was making at the time.

Every few weeks I have a beer fridge cleanout drinking session, where I try and finish off three or four of the remaining single bottles from six packs I’ve not finished. From here on out I’m calling it the Beer Rainbow.

It tasted awful.

Hm. I have watched 100 episodes of this program.

You are correct in that we were hit over the head with how awful public schools are supposed to be.

Was it last season where Liam was taken out of class to go play with some other kids (as a show of how diverse the school was) and he said “They’re second graders” or something? So I think he’s in like fourth grade or

Ha, yeah, I was at my folks house, and my father was cooking something we just call “beer chicken” (I have no idea what it’s actually called, but the sauce uses beer), which is a very savory dish. Anyway, he raided the beer stash I keep in the basement fridge, and came up with an IPA “because I hadn’t seen it before

True - Midge’s acts all killed.

Nice car, that looks like a fun outing! I’m a couple inches shorter than you - about 183 cm or so. I think I’d fit in a Cap - I can fit in an MG Midget just fine, which I believe has a similar amount of interior room (being on the thin side helps).

I hadn’t either till a few years ago. The story is interesting - it started out as a subsidiary of Kaiser, later AMC, and eventually was part of Renault. Successful in motorsports in its home country, IKA managed 4th overall in the ‘69 Nurburgring marathon.

I bet they came from Japan - after all there’s a robust network of importers bringing cars over from Japan, they don’t always have to be Japanese cars, though, do they? I doubt they’re coming from the UK or Australia - I don’t think the financial side works out coming from either country.

Oh, I know it’d cost a bundle, and more than, say, a Charade Gtii or even a Cappuccino. But I’ve always wanted one. (Ideally I’d also snap up an R5 Turbo GT - not the mid engined one, the FWD - and an Alfa 145 TSpark)

Thought of another one - the IKA Torino. I read about these in one of the old car mags a few years ago and have been kind of obsessed with them ever since. I like the way they look (a blend of Americana and Italianate styling) and they appear simple enough for even a duffer like me to keep running. Another one I

There’s an RV8 local to me. I’ve seen it like three times - as a current B owner it appeals to me as much as an F does (the F appeals to the current Miata owner in me).

Have many or any Peugeot 205 GTi’s been imported here? It was a popular car in the British magazines of the 80's and 90's (and still mentioned today), which is the sole reason I know of it. If I was financially able to import a car I’d be sorely tempted by this. Same with the 106 Rallye - I remember reading reviews of

I had a hat like that - I’d gotten oil all over it working on a car (it was my messy work hat from then on out). It would get more pungent the longer I wore it - the only problem was it was also getting in my hair. Duh!

Except the change in the show happened well before the election, within a couple of years of the show’s debut (which was 2011).

I may have missed it, but did something happen behind the scenes that caused this show to take a right turn? I watched a chunk of the first season when it first aired, and thought the show was basically a retread of Home Improvement (guy who thinks he’s super manly has implausible job and doesn’t understand women or

AIUI, the cars had been entered in the auction well before Reynolds died.

A lot of times it’s not even food poisoning, it’s something like IBS or a food allergy. I have a coworker who’s claimed he has “food poisoning” a couple of times, and he refuses to think it might be IBS or maybe even just not eating junk food every single day (we often have ice cream in the breakroom fridges - we get
